I caused some minor nostr drama today when Wavlake implemented a feature on the website that I asked for. There was some very strong feelings and now I feel sad. Maybe I should just stay with cassettes?
Proposal Add the physicalItemTag to Podcasting 2.0. Similar to LIT, it would have the physicalItemSplits. It should fit on a NFC/QR sticker and allow podcast clients to send boost for physical media. It provides the following benefits: Allows the cost of physical media to go down as the licensing fee is not baked in Allows for listener to send value directly to artists Allows artist to receive value in a secondary sale Physical media is punk.
